About peer support

Anyone in Australia who lives with dementia or cares for someone living with dementia can get support from a volunteer Peer Leader.

A Peer Leader is someone who’s had similar experiences to you and can share parts of their journey that may be helpful.

  • Share your challenges
  • Get help from someone who knows
  • Feel less alone on your journey

Talk to someone who gets it

A person living with dementia is matched to another person living with dementia; a carer is matched to a carer.

Whether it's a single call or several, there's nothing like talking to someone who gets it.
