Build dementia leadership knowledge and skills and learn to influence team performance and cohesion by modelling good practice in this nationally recognised dementia training course.

The program is delivered online, with a weekly facilitator webinar, and covers the following topics:

  • Part 1: Leadership
  • Part 2: Organisational management and performance
  • Part 3: Leading dementia practice improvement
  • Part 4: Promoting team effectiveness
  • Part 5: Team communication
  • Part 6: Affecting practice change

Nationally recognised training

This program covers two nationally recognised units of competency from the 10993NAT Certificate IV in Dementia Practice:

  • BSBLDR411 Demonstrate Leadership in the Workplace
  • BSBLDR414 Lead Team Effectiveness

Credit transfers for further training

Graduates of this course receive a credit transfer for BSBLDR411 Demonstrate Leadership in the Workplace, and BSBLDR414 Lead Team Effectiveness upon successful enrolment in 10993 Certificate IV in Dementia Practice.
