Upskill your key staff with an in-depth understanding of causes, signs and strategies for behaviour change in people living with dementia, so they can reduce changes and their negative impacts.

This behaviour change training uses Dementia Australia’s CAUSEd model — Communication, Activity, Unwell/ Unmet Needs, Story, Environment and dementia — to coach staff to identify behaviour change triggers and become behaviour change champions. Staff learn to implement proactive strategies tailored to each individual, to prevent and respond to behaviour change.

Well-trained staff mean clients can live meaningfully engaged lives, organisational culture improves and staff and client wellbeing increases.
