Edge Hill Cairns Bowls Club
Edge Hill Cairns Bowls Club was acknowledged as the first dementia-friendly organisation in Cairns and Far North Queensland in 2020. We have Dementia-Friend registered staff and volunteers, enabling environment, and special equipment for people with dementia and other disabilities to enjoy bowling and socialising.
We also support FNQ Dementia Alliance's dementia-friendly community programs by hosting monthly morning tea with social activities and information sessions for people living with dementia and their carers. Members of community and volunteers are welcome to join in!
