Choir provides a dance segment for those interested in a waltz. This is a very popular time. We are seeing people who have difficulty with mobilization, wanting to be involved in this activity. Carers witness seeing there love one shine as they waltz together.
Choir also provides a MIC time segment for anyone interested in showcasing their talent. This is proving to be very successful, and people are expressing how they want to spend their weeks practicing at home, prior to singing at choir. Also, some participants are working together, therefore forming friendships from choir.
The Sing Out Choir is about having fun, enjoying the company of others, ensuring people feel relaxed and that they feel a part of a local community.
