Advocate insights into National Dementia Action Plan

The Department of Health and Aged Care is developing a National Dementia Action Plan 2023-2033 and Dementia Advocates are helping to shape the draft plan.

Recently, 29 Dementia Advocates participated in five online workshops to help shape the draft plan, due out for public consultation later this year.

In response to the workshops, the Department will now include lived experience case studies to strengthen the draft plan.

A summary of the workshops will be shared with all Advocates once it has been finalised by the Department.
