Meet Chris
Chris is a consultant physician in Geriatric Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. Chris is committed to improving the lives of those people living with dementia.
Dr Chris Etherton-Beer is a consultant physician in Geriatric Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia. He is a Medical Co-Director at the Royal Perth Bentley Group, which is part of the East Metropolitan Health Service. He is also a professor in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia.
Chris serves on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and chairs the Western Australian Therapeutics Advisory Group. He has research interests in pharmaco-geriatrics, stroke, aged care and medical education.
Chris is committed to improving the lives of those people living with dementia.
He says there is sparse guidance relating to managing medications to treat other chronic conditions for people living with dementia. His goal is to change this.
