The theme for Dementia Action Week (18-24 September) is Act Now for a Dementia-Friendly Future and we are seeking your support with this important campaign.
As part of the campaign, we invite you to share with us how dementia-friendly businesses and organisations have had a positive impact on you and your loved ones impacted by dementia.
Please complete a short survey about your experience and thank you to those of you who have already submitted your response.
During Dementia Action Week, we will provide information specifically for councils, businesses and community organisations on steps they can take to become more dementia-friendly, so we encourage you to share your experience.
Dementia Action Week is a major leadership, awareness and advocacy campaign led by Dementia Australia as part of our role as the peak body for people living with dementia, their families and carers in Australia.
Since 2019, the focus of the Dementia Action Week campaign has been to reduce stigma and discrimination experienced by people living with dementia and their carers.
If you have any questions or would like assistance filling out the survey, please get in touch with the Consumer Engagement Coordinator representing your state or territory.
