What I Wish People Knew About Dementia is the February Pick of the Month

When Wendy Mitchell was diagnosed with younger onset dementia at the age of 58, she was overwhelmed with images of the later stages of the condition. But her diagnosis far from represented the end of her life. Instead, it was just the start of a very different one.
For our February Pick of the Month, the Dementia Australia librarians have chosen Wendy’s new book, What I Wish People Knew About Dementia. In this book, Wendy explores the experience of living with dementia, including the unexpected changes to senses, relationships, emotions and communication.
